What started as a personal love for dogs quickly grew into a passion-driven business, dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for pups of all kinds. Since founding Stay Golden, Jessica has worked tirelessly to create a space where dogs feel at home and their owners feel at ease.

As the owner and operator, Jessica oversees every aspect of Stay Golden, from ensuring top-quality care for every furry guest to managing the amazing team that helps bring her vision to life. She is committed to making Stay Golden a place where dogs thrive, whether they’re here for daycare, boarding, or enrichment activities.

When she’s not at the kennel, Jessica loves curling up with a good book or spending time by the river with her pups. Her dedication, love for animals, and hands-on approach make Stay Golden more than just a business—it’s a home away from home for every dog that walks through the door. 🐾

Operations Manager & Social Media Coordinator! 📱🐶

Shira Jesse

A proud dog mom to Dipper, Gaia, and Fenyx, Shira has been an essential part of the Stay Golden family since June 2022. As our Operations & Social Media Manager, she wears many hats to ensure both our pups and their humans have the best experience possible.

On the operations side, Shira oversees the day-to-day running of the kennel, ensuring that every pup is safe, comfortable, and receiving top-quality care. From coordinating staff and managing schedules to making sure all furry guests have everything they need, she keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

In addition to her role in operations, Shira also manages our social media presence, capturing the fun, love, and excitement that happens at Stay Golden every day. Whether it’s sharing adorable pup photos, highlighting special events, or keeping clients informed about important updates, she makes sure our Stay Golden family stays connected.

Her dedication, love for animals, and eye for detail make her a vital part of our team!

     Kennel Coordinator🐶🐾

Kelly Woods

Kelly has been a longtime member of the Stay Golden family, often helping behind the scenes with our holiday events before officially joining the team as a Dog Care Attendant in May 2024. In January 2025, she stepped into her role as Kennel Coordinator, where she now oversees the comfort and care of our daycare and boarding pups. She also assists with managing reservations and client needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly for both our furry guests and their humans.

Riley Hargrove

​Riley joined the Stay Golden pack in May 2024 and is our dedicated Nightshift Lead! She ensures our guests receive top-notch care each evening by preparing dinner, capturing adorable photo updates, leading enrichment play, and handling nighttime potty breaks. In addition to caring for our pups, Riley helps oversee nightly operations, ensuring the facility stays clean, organized, and ready for another fun-filled day.

 Payton joined the Stay Golden pack in July 2024 and is an essential part of our evening team! She ensures our guests are well cared for by preparing dinner, capturing adorable photo updates, leading enrichment play, and handling nighttime potty breaks. She also helps with various tasks around the kennel to keep everything running smoothly.

Julian Batey

Julian joined the Stay Golden pack in the summer of 2024 and plays a vital role in ensuring our guests are comfortable and cared for each evening. From preparing dinner and nighttime potty breaks to enrichment activities and photo updates, she makes sure every pup ends their day happy and relaxed. Julian also helps keep our facility clean and ready for another day of tail-wagging fun! 🐶✨
